Students learn the origins of the world’s major religions. Time concepts of prehistoric, ancient, B.C. and A.D. are clearly explained. Special sheets on Life and Death in Ancient Egypt are included.
 
Middle Ages World History Projects provide an overview of world civilizations in Europe, Africa, India, China, Japan, and the Americas between 500 and 1500 A.D. Much attention is given to the European Medieval political systems and the roles various members played. Information about Castle Life, Knighthood, Heraldry, the Crusades, Illumination, and the Renaissance are presented and reinforced with many activities students are sure to really enjoy.
     
 
Christopher Columbus and The Age of Exploration Projects provide students with clear understanding of what motivated early explorers to venture into unknown areas. Students will learn of the life and accomplishments of Columbus, as well as routes and discoveries of many explorers, both before and after him. Special sheet of Discovered Sunken Ships and Treasure included. Maps resemble beautiful, ancient sea charts, while still providing geographically modern and accurate information. Two Sheets on Piracy in the 17th and 18th centuries are sure to intrigue students.
